GREAT LAKES!!!

We took a bit of a detour on the way home from the Barton family reunion to splash in Lake Michigan. I love making memories with my two favorite boys!

The end of yet another baseball season

It was a hot, sunny day, but what fun it was to watch our two teams play their hearts out on the diamond today! It's been a learning and growing season for the three younger boys as they've ventured into pitching and improved their fielding skills. Christopher is now 13 and ready to move up into the junior league next year, already quite a talented pitcher. He looked great at shortstop today and came in as the closer, striking out all three batters facing his tricky change-up. Can't wait to see what talents (and charm) Emily brings to the field next year! ; )

A waste of a nearly full container of Trader Joe's guacamole hummus. This is what happens when it comes open in your cooler bag. Bummer.
