We are studying Antarctica this week, and today we discussed the extra layer of fat penguins have to protect them in the extreme temperatures. We made ourselves an extra layer of fat and tested it out on homemade icebergs.

I think we killed it!

This was our science experiment for the week, studying the effects of acid rain. After just 4 days, this is the difference between the two, once-identical plants. Pretty impressive!
